So which of your 3 HSE's has sounded the best?
I have an 07 HSE with HK Logik 7 which I've always thought brilliant, but have wondered if the systems get progressively better over the years.
Well, IMO, they all sounded superb. But I did notice straight away that the Meridian system in my MY14 HSE was the best.
This is just the "standard" Meridian system. Which, IIRC, is fitted to the XS and HSE as standard on the MY14.
The upgrade system has loads of speakers and costs a fair bit extra (over £1k). I'm guessing that's really special. But I'm delighted with the standard system. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

I think that you'll be blown away by it.

you can buy the panels with speakers for approx £80 each
It says 2010 D4 - at the top of the page Nick ?
but when you click on the 18808C speaker they list EA on so 2014 on TLO has left the building.......

It was £1250 less 8% which works out at £191 per extra speaker, or £2.58 per watt! Can't wait

Well if it's better than the standard Meridian system, which it surely must be, then it's going to be mind-blowingly good! 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Not overly impressed with mine. Sound does improve with volume but how hard is it to include loudness compensation.
Could do with some dynamat in doors too.

I've got the 1280W system and it sounds superb! I'm afraid I haven't listened to the standard one, so cannot compare the two. I must admit that I have observed a bit of resonance when playing songs with loud bass and volume above 35-40, but you can adjust that through the sound settings.
