I saw an indicated 205km/h on the speedo which showed 190km/h on my GPS based Coyote unit
Thinking about uprating the software tot 300bhp, but haven't decided by who yet.

In my LR4 brochure, I read that for at least the US models with the 5.0 V8, it's 121 MPH.

Hi,
today I tested the CCF setting "Vehicle Speed Limit Configuration" - no luck. Another setting in the EUCD "Speed limitation" also had no effect.
So my US 5.0 l V8 is still limited to 190 kph (real 195 per gps) and 203 on the speedometer.

... your car has a defect.
You only changed one parameter in the CCF - "Oil Top up Display Value" from 1,9 Liter original to undefined...
I have no further idea, what happened there.

Speed
Sorry to drag up such an old thread. Just took my car for a burn over the weekend on some "private roads"
Car soared from 70 upwards increasing nicely, all the way through the range had loads of pull and push up and down hills till the car reached approx120mph. Then nothing wouldn't go any faster.

where's dsl with his thread resurrection picture when we need him ?
so … you got a vehicle with the aerodynamics of a house brick (but much heavier) to do 120mph and you're disappointed ?
laws of physics methinks … Dolomite Sprints (equally aerodynamic ) could do 115 in 3 different gears but the air wouldn't let them through it any quicker than that !
and for clarity … the M5 IS a private road. isn't it ?

... and for clarity - we surely are allowed to go faster in Germany.
And the 5.0 Liter V8 with 375 HP could go faster easily - if there would be no speed limiter.
Edit: But with my modifications now, I don't want to go faster. Discovery 4/LR4 HSE 5.0 V8 MY2010 // Volvo XC60 II T8 Inscription Fusion Red MY2020 // Hyundai Kona Electric Trend MY2020 // Bürstner TravelVan 620G MY2020

At least it's not a diesel. Can you imagine the fun and games if the crank let go at 120mph? Now that would make for interesting dashcam footage, pref with sound = on.
