Speedo was running out - *over-reading by about 3mph!
This was on 295/40/20 tyres [and same on stock 18" Wranglers]
Just changed my tyres to 295/45/20 and speedo is now running *spot on.
And this is throughout all speed ranges.
[*checked with my gps speedo].
note: 295/45/20 is closest to optimum [per al cope tyre calculator] I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

So you went for the 45's then Ron. I guess clearence is OK, and probably look/ride better than the 40's.

Barry, they're that good I'm gonna take a pic and do a seperate post and preach to the non converted.

Told you Ron ... I think they are the best tyre ever , I have 20K on mine now and they are still lots of wear on them.
Have you noticed how quite they are on the road.
