Split turbo hose

Hi all new member, but been following for a while! My turbo hose ( think it is anyway) has split, I'm gonna atempt to replace myself but wondering if upgrading the hose might be a better option? will it improve bhp sort of thing? Not really clued up but trying to improve my knowledge. All help greatly appreciated Shocked

there is no improve in BHP by updating the pipe. only quality

Probably the easiest repair to do on a D3

I think, the front metal bash plate needs removing ? and then undo the top and bottom intercooler hose clamps and remove the old pipe, then install the new one.

Wales 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Bonatti GreyDiscovery 3

Undo the jubilee clip in the engine bay ,Undo Plastic cover under the drivers side wheel arch for the bottom of the hose. Be careful with the clips as they’ll break. Thumbs Up
