I've got the same problem - seems worse in winter and occassionally goes away in summer. Perhaps because the heater is on most of the time and drying "something" out?? Happy new year to all by the way!!

Thanks guys - I was just concerned that something was going to go snap in the near future.
Have tried some WD40 but will probably need to investigate more - but when its less cold!
Cheers. All things shipping, storage, transport. UK and worldwide.

I too have this problem.
A squirt of silicone spray solves the problem, but only for a couple of weeks.
I have yet to take it up with the dealers.

You can get to the pivot with an oil can using a bit of pipe to extend the reach , did this a year ago and had no problems since , Advisable to but plastig bag on the carpet under the pedals to catch and drips.
After lubing just keep working the pedal.
Hope this helps

I had this problem last year, I got down on my back under the dash and sprayed WD40 up the clutch linkage and the squeak stopped for a couple of days then came back worse!
I relented and got on my back again and stripped the trim away from under the drivers side and exposed the linkage probably, then I doused the whole lot in WD and put some 3 in 1 oil on the spring bit (I am not technical!) at the top of the linkage which you can only see when you strip the trim out.
The whole thing from start to finish took me about 30 minutes but it was nice and sunny at the time!
The squeak has been banished and never came back after that lot - so all is good.
Hope it helps
Steve

Not that I remember, I think I just needed my trusty leatherman to undo the ones with a standard 'screw head', although I guess a 2p might do the trick.

Had the same only last week. Took the trim off and as Sopjas did, I squirted some lubricating oil (rather than WD40) onto the linkage and little roller. Its a bit awkward but its done the job- squeak free.
