Starter key going crazy ?

For some strange reason my LR button on the key has changes function.
In the morning is was still the default (lights on/off) but at the evening it became unlocking the trunc doors Shocked

Anyone else with this strange behavior? In a time of chimpanzees, I was a penguin.

has someone been playing around? pushing the LR button at the same time as releasing the tailgate will programme the button to do this Wink

Mine came back from 60k service like that. It was set to raise/lower suspension, but came back unlocking the tailgate. Had to get the manual out!

as far as I know, no one played with it.
Only thing I had as of 2 days before that, was an error when locking the car.
Seemd the trunck that was badly closed...

hmmmm may be I was a bit too quick closing and locking the door Rolling Eyes

Mine did that too.

I have my keys programmed to headlights. One key reversed to tailgate some months ago. Only experienced it once though.

mine does this if you inadvertantly squeeze the LR button when the key is in the ignition still... and theeeeennn......???
