all UK spec D3's came with alloys as standard (17,18 & 19's) - not sure about the rest of the world.

i like the idea of some steels wheels with some good mud tyres on to use for events. I've not had any luck in finding any, although I believe you can get 4 x 17" alloys for £100. DSL is the man in the know on all things 17" D3 HSE MY05 Auto

ISTR that one of our Belgian members had 17" steel wheels (penguin??) but I may be wrong. Since 17" alloys are cheap as chips this side of the pond prob not much call for them. Also as bottom of the food chain, easily availabe as folk upgrade their wheels.

Penguin is also running performance BB6.
They can be both in Belgium for 95 Eur/piece.....
IMHO, to expensive.

Dynamic 4x4 in Melbourne Australia sell 17" steel rims for the D3, around $140 each.
