Steering Alignment

Went camping over the weekend.

Drove down an old rail line in the woodlines at Cave Hill south of Coolgardie.

Missed a big dip in the track, visually that is, not physically! It was about 1m deep and 2m across.

Now my steering wheel is about 1-2deg off centre to the right. The STT's aren't making much more noise than usual so the majority of the wheel alighment geometry must be OK. (When I had that bush settle issue a couple of years ago, I couldn't even hear myself think over the tyre noise until it was corrected).

Question is: Can I fix it myself? Is it just a matter of checking re-adjusting the arm thingy's on either side to make sure they've got the same thread showing on each?

Plus side is Spyros' dampers and bushes were excellent Thumbs Up Bow down Thumbs Up . Handled everything superbly.
 Have a nice day!

Yes it was good.

We stayed at the Cave Hill camping ground the whole time. Rose had a great time, but got savaged a bit by the mossies and march flies. There were wild donkeys ans she was convinced that Makka Pakka (a character in a TV show called Night Garden) was living on the rock.

The in-laws came too but wanted to do the minimum of non-bitumen driving (3yo Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD). We came in from higginsville, whereas they came via widgemooltha. It was in looking for them to meet up that we went down the old line.

I was going a bit too fast (stupidly) as we were running short of time and light. They had no comms in their car.

Car handled the track with ease. I'd like to go back when it;s wet sometime as it would be a fchallenge (unless DEC close it off)

That would be a good trip, I used to call on the mines around that area years ago.
