Which Steering Wheel?

Currently looking at a heated steering wheel for sale and its one that has the chrome tipped buttons on it.

Is this type compatible with a 2010 D4 XS

Thanks

This might be useful to you, from what I've been reading the steering wheels can pretty much be stripped right down with the exception of the heating element. This is a mod I'll also be attempting myself hopefully before the cold weather hits.

Thanks for that, a useful video.

Steering wheel I'm looking at also has the raised white horn button if that helps identify weather its compatible or not.

Hi

I know from experience that the steering wheel ecu is different from 2014 onwards as when i fitted a heated wheel to my 2010 D4 it was as simple as fit the correct rotary coupling anf fit the wheel and it all worked ok. When i changed to a 2014 onwards i found the ecu was different, so had to source one and change it over and then had to get the wheel enabled in the CCF for it to work as it would not switch on otherwise. The switch packs are easy to change over if you need to or you can just change the switch pack covers.
