Steering wheel info buttons stopped working

Hello,

I noticed that my right steering wheel buttons (the arrows up and down) does not do what they did. They used to change what info I wanted to see in the display like trip, mpg, Km left on this tank etc. but now they just shows the setting menu. Exactly what the middle button does. They work as they should in that menu so there is nothing wrong with the actual buttons.

I flashed the ecu (IID tool) a week ago when adding a towbar. Could that be the reason somehow?

Thanks and hope that someone have any ideas.

Hello,

Sorry, it is a 2012 Sdv6 HSE. Hope that this helps.

For the Towbar settings with IID tool I used what the team at GAP told me:

- Tow bar -> Yes

- Trailer module -> select the correct one

- Trailer stability assist -> Yes (will only work if surround cam are fitte) - I have yes here even if I do not have the surround cam

- Trailer towing ball -> Fitted

Thanks

Reset tour trailer stability assist to no as you don't have cameras and try again if not reset your car to the original setting that your IID tool took the first time you plugged it in Thumbs Up
