Had a new set of Pirelli Scorpions fitted 2000 miles ago, there was some uneven wear on the old set so hoped new boots would improve things. There was vibration before replacement. Vibration between 50 and 70 better but still there.
Car went in for service last week where it was tracked and the wheels re balanced. The problem still manifests itself between 50 and 70, not all the time, seems to depend on the road surface etc, the steering wheel vibrates, not enough that holding it causes discomfort on your arm but enough to be annoying.
Has anyone else experienced this surface dependant vibration with the Pirellis?? Really annoying that say at 65 its fine one minute and then not the next.
Cheers Don't try to follow me, you wont make it!!
One life. live it.

Might not be the tyres
Steering rack may have issues that need sorting - recently discovered I had a badly worn steering arm that was giving issues which was causing intermittent vibrations.

I don't have a resolution but I am suffering from the same issue. As you said, starts around 55 mph and above 70 mph is not so pronounced. Present: LR3 HSE 2006

Mines doing that too. Should have got 10forcash to do mine instead of the stealer. They made it veer over to the left really bad. Having four wheel alignment done will get track rod checked at same time.

I am running 20's so that was my first thought. I had the wheels checked and re balanced but it still gives a wobble at 50-60mph...tyre pressures are ok...
Also get a dull thud at low speed over speed ramps or kerbs D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.
