Stereo and sat nav acting up |
|
Hi all, looking for some help/advice.
The wife has been driving my disco and has told me that both the stereo and sat nav keep switching off then on randomly. She also tells me this has put both park brake warning lights on.
With both stereo off and sat nav screen off park brake lights does not illuminate.
Has anyone else experienced this or have a cure.
Thanks

No, but try a hard reset as a good place to start,👍 James favourite hobby is writing in the third person.

Have you had any joy with the hard reset?
My Disco 3 SE also has the sat nav and radio cutting out, and coming back on again, for no reason. This has started happening in the last few weeks, and while I'm driving.
I suspect a dry joint, but don't know where to start the search

Adjust the front passenger (left side when sat in the car) seat max forward and height, look under the seat and you will see the cables going into the satnav disc player, with the car asleep unplug each one and check they are fitted properly, they can be cought by items being put under the seat and passengers with long legs. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Get your battery and alternator checked as the sat nave screen is the first to shut down when low battery or voltage.
