Stereo Upgrade retain 6 CD changer

Is there a touch screen w/Bluetooth, NAV, Backup Cam head unit that I can place that would allow me to keep the 6 cd changer in tact.

I like the OEM system, but the screen on the radio, as well as no NAV and No Backup Camera is the lacking component that I would like to have. Also the small LCD? screen in my LR3 SE 2005 has had better days and I cannot see hardly anything on the screen from the driver's seat. I believe it to be the Logic 7 system with the 400 head unit, from what I have read here.

I am thinking an Android system would work, but not sure I could keep the CD changer with that upgrade.
I'll be doing this myself on the install, and am somewhat competent is doing so.

Open to any brand/system

So you have the 6cd with no touch screen/nav ?

Do you have an amp under the seat?

No TS NAV

I do believe an amp is under the passenger side seat. I have not removed the seat to look but there is some component there that is not under the driver's.

Yes the amp is fitted under the drivers seat on a rhd so should be under your passenger seat.

The head unit and amp communicate using fibre optics which makes it very difficult. normally they come with the touch screen sat nav which has a number of extra fibre optics ports that you can use to connect rear cameras etc.

You can get conversion kits to change the head unit , this enables you to replace the headunit with a double din unit but this causes other issues like not being able to change the clock.

Other people have fitted small touch screen tablets but i dont know how you would link it into the fibre optics system

Suggested units

Thanks for the knowledge.

Does anyone have a good suggestion on what stereo/touchscreen to use?
Options I want:

GPS or ability to link up with an android's phone nav, dis[play on the Touch screen
Backup Camera I will most likely buy one off amazon and route the wires using the reverse light power to turn on. Displayed on TS
Bluetooth for more than one device at the time. (i.e when playing music via BT from an ipod (actually older iphone) I loose my phone. Right now using a aux port plug in BT thing from amazon.

As per model what wiring adapter I could use so as not to hack the wires there but still have steering wheel controls work.

If I can would like to retain function of 6cd chNger but if that will not work when upgrading, I can do without.
