Noted.
I put assorted fairly unique stickers on the rear, side and windscreen of mine for 2 reasons:
1) if the plate gets ringed and I start getting parking and speeding tickets from places I've never been I can show its not mine as no moose on the back. Hasn't happened to me yet but several friends have had this.
2) similarly if it gets stolen and is put on ringed platess (and doesn't leave the country) then if by bizarre coincedence I see it, the Swedish Moose warning sticker on the back will tell me its mine (or the triangular patch where it used to be!) A long shot but you never know.
Hope you find it - if your really lucky it'll break down on them and they'll ditch it, Tony

Just woken up , I feel for you.
My Tracker should be alive once I make the call or if its been TWOC'd, so thats an instant alert. Its what I pay for so would expect it so.
Lets hope there's a good outcome here.

<edit>
People get careless and switch them off or hand over the car to someone who doesn't have one. At this point Tracker HQ get a signal for the first time, hence wakes up. <edit>

Vehicle security sensitive information removed
EDIT IN RESPONSE TO MODERATOR'S EDIT
FIRSTLY, the "details" I posted are not vehicle specific. Secondly, this information is repeated ad-nauseum on Cops'n'Cars mindless drivel on the TV (something your average scrote is more likely to see than a single page on this website). Even the Guardian has covered it. http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2010/...ps-jammers
Personally I think it highly irresponsible of the moderators to lull people into a false sense of security about the infallibility of their chosen anti-theft system. There are very public weaknesses and I think it's healthy that we debate them.
To anyone who doesn't like this, I suggest you reconsider your security arrangements rather than putting your fingers in your ears and yelling "I can't hear you" while blaming others for the consequences of your ignorance I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Best trackers Lock Down the Motor Dead Lock the doors sound a Hi decibel alarm
WE wanted them to deploy the air bags as well doable but it might hurt the scroat who nicked the car so to much red tape

Just responding to complaints and concerns about your post Al. You say it wasn't vehicle specific ...but it was product specific and the product is widely used on D3\4's. There will always be an argument for and against revealing methods to overcome vehicle security to any extent. If site users demonstrate an overwhelming desire to discuss the weaknesses of D3 \ 4 related security then perhaps someone might like to start another thread for all methods to be debated in detail. Until that desire is clear however we will continue to assess any security related information which causes concern. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

The tracker was fitted by the previous owner the police got in contact with him and found out the company that fitted it, then asked cobra to turn it back on as I hadn't continued the subscription. The tracker was sent a signal on Thursday but last night was the first time cobra got a signal from it.
Just go to wait and see, hopefully might get some news tomorrow, I have no idea what happens in this situation, if it is found in an ok condition how would I get it back? would it be my problem or the insurance companys
Any info would be great.
Finger crossed it all works out as driving a ford focus at the moment.
