How to stop those nasty diesel filter problems

From overland forum

1) Diesel Sure test kit (consists of a float in a clear bottle to test
specific gravity to SA or Euro stds), includes a page of tips.
R165+R15postage if not in Jhb.
Phone Christine Rankine 0833094258 in Jhb

2) 2 stroke oil for fuel (eg for outboard motor), so if the test kit
detects paraffin etc you can partially compensate by adding 2 stroke oil
to the diesel & don't rev high until you find good diesel.

3) "Water Blocker (& Crud) Fuel Filter" R491-00
This functions like the R750 Baja filter you mentioned, Murray.
http://www.mrfunnel.com/ they stock the big yellow one (R491), & a
smaller size (R317).

suspect fuel)

time before use.
