Powder-coating wheels - all done now!
Looking to get my wheels powder-coated........ going 'back to black'.
Can anyone recommend someone who does a good job and is reasonably priced?
Ideally in North Yorks (or thereabouts) so I can drop them off and save on carriage.
Tyres still on rims, so ideally someone who can remove & refit/balance.

Seem to remember an old thread where Devonchilliman travelled many miles to Prospeed to get his wheels sorted?
There's a place up in Team Valley that do wheels, prices have been good for the stuff i've had done. Heading back from P'boro on Sun with an empty trailer if you want them dropping inPaul.

Thanks for that Paul, much appreciated ... but, tyres are on wheels and wheels are on car!
Don't have another set.
And thanks Richard, yes DC was with me when he travelled up and it was indeed Prospeed that had them done for him...... and a real good job too.
In the past I've done a bit of business with Prospeed, but I've got a bit of an issue in using them now.
I need to be looking somewhere fairly local so that I can take the vehicle in for 'the full job' eg remove/refit/balance tyres when doing the powder coating.
Alternatively I'll jack it up on one side and get the wheels done two at a time.

Thanks for that NJSS, but closest one to me is around an hour away.
And that's in the opposite direction of my tyre guy.
If I did it in two lots that's a total of 4hr driving just for the wheels, then another 3hr total to my tyre fitter.
But much appreciated. 🏴

May be an option for you
These are in Rotherham and will provide loan wheels whilst yours are being refurbished.
I've seen quite a few that they have done as I always have a nosey when I have tyres fitted and they are very good.

£190 for me, all inclusive.
£150 and that's 4 x 20" wheels from silver sparkle to gloss black.
Plus (a special ronp price) of £40 from my tyre fitter (across the road from powdercoater) for removal/refit/balance and keeping the FL2 for a few days (on blocks) whilst wheels are being done.🏴
