Strange thing happened to my D3 today
This morning, at 0732am I started the engine, and proceeded in a South-westerly direction to Bristol. My ETA was 1045am and everything was going very well as I enjoyed Chris Evans show, whilst heading south on the M6.
At around J13, I glanced at the sat nav, and it said eta was 1100, not bad I thought, as I glanced at the clock in the instrument - which said 0732. That meant I had 3.5 hours to get to my destination, so time for breakfast en-route
Then it struck - 0732? that was my departure time Checked my watch, and the clock on the radio and it was showing 0855.
The LCD in the instrument panel was frozen, the time was fixed, and the temp was stuck at 1 degree (it was definitley warmer outside) If I pressed the end of the stalk, nothing happened with the LCD, no settings, no mpg, nothing!
So, after a shutdown to sleep, and restart, all is back to normal. Has anyone else ever seen this happen? this along with my instrument illumination failure the other day which fixed itself by flicking to main beam and back, leads me to suspect something wrong somewhere. Any ideas?

I had exactly the same stuck clock months ago, fixed after a restart and not repeated since. Just a glitch in the matrix.....The End

I had the girl sitting out in minus 3 over in Belguim last week for 2-3 days I started a trip to Brugge and the Sat nav and sound system shut down, checked all the fuses all okay. Started her up after a substantial lunch in brugge and hey presto directions and noise.
Me thinks the battery must be a bit low?
Does the Disco have a sequential shut when power is low

I had some problems like that but not the same. I had the bluetooth system didn't want to disconnect my phone call. And a few others I can't recall and always a restart off the D3 cures the problem.Roel
