Strobes

A new job means I am back on the motorways for a bit and need to drop some strobes on the front and rear of the car...

I already have wiring and a switch on the dash from the days of an A Bar and spotlights..SO....can I use this switch and stuff to get the strobes to work without the lights on etc...

Wiring advice needed, and which 'white' strobes I should get..

Thanks chaps Thumbs Up

Thought you aint allowed to use White strobes, only white coloured lenses with Amber LED's. Got fitted to mine as I work in a Quarry, and to access a the higher car park I need to have HSE requirement strobes

Very bright and work independantly of each other with a control box for the type of sequence I want. I ran the cables for front ones down windscreen trim and the rear cables through the grommit in the N/S/R with cb cable.

Nick, if it's the standard LR spot lamp wiring presumably it'll only power the lights when high beam is on so unless that's what you want it'll need rewiring, I'd give TFC a shout Thumbs Up

No...last day today actually !!

Not moving too far though, new firm's office where my desk is Cheadle. Although UK work will be highways and civils I will be more focussed on international work so will be be home office mainly or on site.

Will be popping back to Bramhall though for the odd beer in Beluga !

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up They are the ones I have, (in orange), would fully recommend. They are very good quality and stuningly bright! Easy to wire up with simple + / - and a control wire to set the pattern. Only problem I have had is that if you common up all the control wires to 'move' the patterns together they get out of sync. I have had to set each head individually, only done once so no big deal unless you want to change the pattern regularly! (more likely I'm doing someting wrong Embarassed )
There are also temporary options from the same site that plug into the cig lighter and work very well, we have supplied them for some jobs.
I've only got around to fitting the rear ones on mine so far so front's still to go!!
Off Roading is OK.... But I'd rather be Boating!
