It is in 'super extended mode' It put its self there whilst we were trying to climb out of a river bed. The front wheels were on top of the river bank and the rear wheels were still on the river bed. They also go 'super extended' automatically when wading in deep water and being used as a winch vehicle.

I expect that if you get a trolley jack and jack up the front and rear of the vehicles (not completely off the ground) with the engine running they will go into 'super extended' mode.
In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

You can fool the system into extended with a car stand.
1. put in off road height
2. place stand under chassis.
3. lower to normal height.
4. vehicle goes into extended mode.
5. now you can put foot on brake go to super extended. Very Happy
I did this the get enough clearance at wheel for a short screwdriver to get the mud flaps off; without taking wheels off.
