The sub deals with very low frequency bass ...it's a speaker located in the lower tailgate and pumps out sounds in mono rather than in stereo Thumbs Up

You should hear it when the output drops below the frequency threshold on any music being played through the system. Some types of music like Drum & Bass will feature such frequencies far more frequently than some other types of music ....if you get my drift Smile

output from the sub can be felt more than heard (if you crank up the volume)

try this for reading :-

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subwoofer

and I suspect that yours isn't the size of this, but some people do like to upgrade that side of the unit

If you can't hear anything or indeed feel it as suggested above, check that the rear number plate hasn't been screwed on Rolling Eyes

Sub is for sub bass <25Htz.
Normal subs do <50Htz.

Will get in the back and get my wife to move the slider.

Thanks

The thing to do is open the tailgate and sit on the left hand side (as you look at it) the sub is located directly under your bottom Thumbs Up
