Surround camera advice
I’ve just bought my first discovery and it’s great. However, the front 2 and near side cameras don’t work. Rear and offside are fine. Is there a good tutorial or guidance anyway for fixing these.

The early ones are horrifically expensive to replace.
The best bet it not to worry and never look at them again.

Does this help?
The plug/sockets are keyed on the module under the passenger seat so you can't swap the ports around to prove the camera module ports are all good.
Do a continuity check on the non working camera cables to rule out or locate a broken or disconnected cable.
Or if you bought from a trader take it back and ask them to fix it.
I have the 2014 camera effort and the quality is terrible so don't really use them apart from the reversing one - I think your model is better so might be worth the effort In today's world, if you contribute something, you don't contribute enough. If you contribute nothing, you receive everything.

Thanks for this, that’s handy. The picture on the 2 working cameras is good so I would like to try and get them all working. I discovered that the camera in the door mirror is in fact missing!

That won't help if it is missing but now only 2 to go!
Might be lucky and find the ones in the bumper weren't reconnected when the bumber was off...

If you can get the front ones to work then great, but as above if the cmareas are broken I wouldn’t replace them. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
