suspension compressor ECU
My iid tool shows me there is an ECU update available for the suspension air compressor, I read here about the Hitachi & AMK compressors.
I'm sure my newly acquired 2005 SE had a new compressor last year, but I think it was a Dunlop unit.
Which software if any do I need for that ?

My opinion... if there is no problem, do not fix/update it...
I know it can be tempting, but why should you do this?
Only after knowing the pro’s and con’s for this update you can make a decision IMHO and only then it can be interesting to know what you have... but maybe it is answered then all ready 😉Best regards

Hitachi and Dunlop use the same software. AMK is different, but it would still run on an ECU using Hitachi and vice versa. The updates have slightly different operating parameters, so it is best to run on the correct software to get the best out of the compressor.
If you pop off the compressor cover you will be able to see which compressor is fitted. Then see what software is installed using your IID, update accordingly if required.
