Sorry for the above post from another username but it seems I have two profiles on this forum........
Today I left the D3 into an independent for a service & investigation of the suspension fault. Compressor & sensors are fine & they say that the fault is with the wiring probably due to corrosion. Is this common ? I have seen broken wiring mentioned on another thread as the cause of a suspension fault. Its booked in again next week for further investigation & I will report the findings.
Just to put the icing on the cake my bluetooth phone & voice activation have stopped working probably due to another faulty/broken wire but I will add that information to another relevant post.

Just to update my last post:
It now turns out that the fault was not with the wiring but with the electronics in the compressor. The compressor was replaced today & so far all seems to be working fine. Can anyone clarify if the LR warranty on a compressor is one or two years ?
