Suspension. What is normal?

I have just repaired my suspension, it was sinking in the front nearside over night and wouldn’t give me the option of raising and lowering. I replaced from valve blocks, rear valve blocks, a ride height sensor on the rear offside and fixed the plug going into the rear valve block. All was well and I was able to calibrate the suspension and everything seemed to be good with no warnings coming on on the dash and all faults cleared on the diagnostics. For a week things seemed good but the wife has just been out to start it and the whole car was down. It went up immediately on start up, and there are still no warnings on the dash.
My question is this... What is the suspension meant to do when parked up? Does it sink slightly, is there a way that you can lower it when ithe car is off? I checked the system for leaks and couldn’t find any, but there are places where it’s hard to reach.

I’ve not owned it for long, and the suspension has always been faulty so I’m not sure what is normal behaviour.

Any info would be great.

Cheers

Eddie

It should stay in the same mode as you switch it off in...
It may self level to some degree however if you are on the bump stops... you have a leak....

Thanks G-Cam, I suspected as much.
It must be an occasional leak though which would suggest to me a leak from a valve which have just been replaced with new? Do you know of anything else that would occasionally leak?

Cheers

I might suggest checking tge voss connections on the valve blocks.. since you had these disconnected
Also worth checking the top of the struts.. again the voss connectors.
The pneumatic pipes can occasionally chafe or even melt if the air compressor is loose or overheats.

If you have an iid you might find it throws up a fault but there are none on the dash...
