since found one in surrey that other members have used

Lots more red lights and lots more driving at 30! Ugh!
Took it up to the mechanics and the 'Cross articulation' error code came up again. Not sure if that's to do with calibration or what?
Had to make a 30 mile round trip and had about 8 incidents of the red light - stop car - turn off engine - restart to go through.
On one occasion I thought I'd bump it up to off road height to see if that would shake things up a bit. I then set off and the dash came up with 'Suspension vehicle raising slowly' error.
Is that significant?
One last thing to mention. I have noticed for some time now when I go to start the car there is like a squeaking 'rubber being inflated' type of noise from near the passenger seat foot well.
Is this all pointing to a knackered near side suspension strut?
This is like when I used to own a VW camper...you have to get involved or else you sink....
...currently sinking....

You have obviously got a leak somewhere, so mix up some soapy water and start looking. Check the suspension struts, and especially check the air tank under the car, next to the chassis, under the passenger seat area.

Is it possible to check this from underneath on the drive? Or do I have to get it jacked up and remove the struts as per gstuart?
The vehicle raising slowly message has only appeared once or twice but I've had lots (now) of red light and drive at 30 messages...is this still consistent with a leak? Mechanic said perhaps the pump is on its way out.

to bubble test the struts , put the suspension into off road height and then use some washing up liquid around the rubber part of the struts and top voss air line connection
u don’t have to remove them to test , it was only because it wouldn’t leak in access or normal height , it did in off road height because the rubber moves out of the metal strut casing , simulated this when i removed them by pressuring them to share my findings of the leak
i had a lot of messing around with the suspension
as mentioned, raising slowly can be , leak or dryer incadensant beads on compressor blocked up
first thing is , raise suspension to off road height , pull F26 fuse from the engine bays fuse box, leave overnight and see if it drops, measure from the centre of ur wheels to the bottom of ur wheel arch, then remeasure them the next day
after you’ve turned ur engine off have a good listen around the vehicle , air tank normally leaks on the welded seam on top of the tank, can’t see the seam when fitted on vehicle
i just took my time and went through things step by step

also after the four wheel alignment was done did they reset ur steering wheel angle sensor , as i believe ur DSC is part of that system

Many thanks for the advice. I'll have a go as soon as I can get to it. Lots of washing up liquid is about to be used. Maybe I should wash the pots first and get in the good books!!!

I have great faith in my mechanic. Good Guy and doesn't rip off.
But when the engine was racing and someone on here suggested changing the oil temp sensor he didn't know about that. I bought one and he fitted. Fixed the problem and he admitted it was a new one on him. £20 quid fix if you had the knowledge. That's why I'm here trying to sort out this EAS issue.
With this EAS issue it will go on for a while I'm sure but I'm damned if I'm going to be 'oh it's a land rover so get used to costs'....or at least I'll try!!!

OK. Just tested all round with soapy water and I can't see any leakage on struts or air reservoir.
Could the 'vehicle raising slowly' issue be caused by a compressor that is on its way out?
Any help much appreciated.

Your compressor could well be knackered, and a new one may well fix everything, but I suspect that there is also an underlying problem.
Can I suggest a different garage? Where in UK are you?

that’s the similar noise i had when my front strut was leaking
picking ur brains if i may plse ref the DSC error, when u disable the button does that then put the block valves into an open position in order the axle acts like a livebeam
