Was off road last week during a shoot and needed to raise and lower the suspension once every 10 minutes or so as we moved between stands, which gave the message "suspension slow to raise" and taking well over a minute to get to off-road hight.
When I bought the car in September, I went from access to off road 3 times in a row with no issues, and now it struggles to get to off road hight from access only the once, so I assume there is an issue. I have removed the mud cover, cleaned it out and removed the foam padding too, neither of which have changed the speed to raise.
Vehicle stays in off road height over night if I put it there, so I assume there is no leaks - correct?
So, is it time to get quotes for replacement? I am driving to Lech, Austria in 7 weeks time and don't want any failures to happen then!
Happy to replace it myself providing no special tools or equipment are involved - couldn't find any guides though!
Car is an 05 SE with 70K.
