BAS remap unit question
Hi,
I changed the clutch a year ago so toying with a remap. This just popped up for sale locally, described as " tuning kit for Land Rover Discovery 3, 2.7ltr" Does this get me anywhere with a remap/save any money? I'm completely clueless about remap process. BTW I already have a Bluetooth IID.

And locked to a VIN number...
I had the same unit (identical unit, different name on it) from VANTUNER For my ford transit..
I just recently sold the transit, and asked Martyn if it was possible to use it on the D3.
Answer, maybe or maybe not, but not supported anymore, but IF it works on your D3, you have to put back the standard OEM map on the transit (so de tune it again) first and then only then can it be used on another motor...
So you have at least two major risk factors if you buy it..Best regards
Harold
