T@B Tin Tent

SWIBO who makes her living as a PR for various Glamping firms has a hankering for a T@B, looking at them they are quite apealing and seem to hold their valure well.

As there just 2 of us it would be great for our weekends to Trafia.

Any one here tried one are they as cool as they look?

If it is a small iconic van you want then I think I would prefer the Eriba - much roomier than the T@B,

As an Eriba Troll owner I'm naturally biased. Mine's a 2004 model and people still ask if it's new! Resale values are high owing to the excellent build quality and design and their relative scarcity over here. Brilliant to tow and they are really designed for touring. Many owners have had theirs for 30 years or more. We are on our second. Worth serious consideration. Thumbs Up

Thanks, the Eriba is the other one I am interested, you see plenty over here usually with Dutch plates.

Surely not to tow behind a D3/4??????? Embarassed

It would be cheaper to put them in the boot! Whistle (No offence intended - tongue firmly in cheek!)

They are less expensive to buy new in NL, and there are far more available at very good prices on the second hand market there too. Thumbs Up

I have seen one of these behind a D3 last year in France. It practically flew by me as it overtook me at probably 130 kph.
They do an offroad version which would obviously not look good behind a VW golf or so...

Each to their liking... This one is not for me.

Yes it would be behind a D3"....... I may look slightly silly with a car bigger than the caravan, but in the PR world style rules above substance Rolling with laughter

Surely you need an Evoke to go with it then! 8)

Seriously though, the Eriba is a good solid thing that will last for years. The T@b's quite a cute thing too, although perhaps not quite as practical. There are, it seems, different sizes of them too I believe.
