Tail Gate Rattle

I can see any way to adjust the tail gate, small rattle from it but if I shove a small wet wipe where the rubber bit sits half way up on the OS it stops the noise so guess something out of line?

Thanks in advance

I had something similar to this, it was driving me mad. I stripped most of the rear down to try 7 find the noise. I thought it was coming from the rear B pillar. In the end I found it was the tailgate lock moving on the pin on the offside. A spray of lithium grease solved the problem.

I fixed that by applying some silicone grease on the the rubbery bits and the “slats”. You don’t need very much, just a hint of grease is enough,
