Tailgate Protection
Does anyone know where I can get a tailgate mat - do they exist or do I have to make one? The loadspace mat is great but dogs/kids get mud on the tailgate getting in/out. Cheers.
PS: Why is there no headlight/sidelight warning light on the dash?
I purchased two rubber boot mats from eBay and also asked the guy for some rubber for the tailgate.
See http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Land-Rover-Discovery...dZViewItem and ask for a price for a sheet of rubber for the tailgate. This stuff works well and rolls/folds up easily. It is also useful when working under the car or when you need to kneel on something.Matt

I just cut come rubber matting to size and shape and attached with outdoor grade double sided tape.
Works well and keeps dogs paw marks off. (Also covered sliding gap fill panel in same way)“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€
