Rolling Eyes You've been away far longer than we thought Whistle Wink

There is a statement somewhere on here that says while Fiat is touting their interest in building replacement engines... Tata and LR are distancing themselves from this and there is strong speculation that they will renew their colaboration with Ford for engines beyond 2012 Thumbs Up

Well all I can say is PUMA Evil or Very Mad Bits fall off it, leak out of it, it sounds like rattle snake on smack most of the time. So bring Fiat into the equation at least it may kick the Puma designers to improve their standards.

Oh sorry for discussing a Defender engine on the D3 site Whistle

Because the diffs would explode closely followed by seizure of the transfer box, so on and so on.

Transit drivers seem happy with the engine Wink So it's either what LR did to it, or what you do to it....

I know who I think is to blame Whistle

Fiat group have some lovely common rail diesels... and the lowest average CO2 emissions of any car manufacturer, something LR could do with some experienced advice on... makes sense to me!

I have to say my FIAT has been MUCH more reliable than the D3 Neutral and MUCH easier to work on Thumbs Up

Can't see a problem. Engines in particular are good. Had the same low battery ECU error problems that the D3 has so they should make good stable mates!
