where did you get all the donor parts from? written off tdv8 rrs, was not aware the rrs came with tdv8 but to be fair never looked.

Donor was a full running car, bought from a customer

In the previous 12 months before I bought it, I had replaced both turbos and both EGR valves
So I knew it was a good one Whistle

The parts not required were sold on to recoup some of the outlay...

Thats cool, just looked on ebay never knew they came with v8 looks like 275 Bhp too, does it use the same 6 speed box props diffs etc i.e can that all remain the same?

You will know better than most, whats the v8 like reliability wise any similar issues to the 3.0 i.e crank!

Looks like a great project i will be watching closely! Very Happy

Front and rear diffs are the same, as are the front driveshafts and front prop...

Rear driveshafts are different
Gearbox is different
Most of the drivetrain is the same


Reliability, they eat turbos and EGR valves, both of which have already been replaced Thumbs Up
