Telestart T91R not Pairing.
Hi, Please help have no idea what I am doing wrong.
Bought a T91R reciever off ebay and a keyfob , could not get them to pair. Disconnected unit, reconnected unit and pressed the off button for one second. Just get eight short red flashes. The on button give 8 green flashes.
Assumed I had a duff T91R so bought a brand new one and a new key fob (please see picture).
Connected it all up and guess what, exactly the same. So now think it must be wiring. Removed from boot and connected directly to the heater +,- and the red WBUS. Exactly the same fault, will not pair.
The disco 4 is a 2010 fitted with the disco 4 Thermo top V. So today swapped the heater with a spare one and still the same fault.
Park heat works fine, Telestart has been enabled. What am I doing wrong?????

Remove fuse 2 from the engine bay
Put the fuse back in.pick up the remote and press and hold the off button down. Keep it held down until the latest get comes on red and then goes off.Bodsys Brake Bible

No Luck
Removed fuse 2.
Waited 10 seconds.
Replaced fuse 2.
Within a couple of seconds held off button down.
Red LED flashes 8 very short blips. Then nothing.
Try ON button, 8 very quick green flashes.
Have 13v and 0v at receiver and 12v on the wbus at the receiver...
Any ideas?

Does it take 10seconds to pick the remote up...?
Please follow the instructions and it will work, if you make up your own, it won’t....

I give up....
Will not pair.. Both remotes I have were off ebay. Not sure if different countries use different frequencies.
Have to order new remote from dealer, last thing i can think of.

The one on the left definitely won’t work.
If you want to send the one on the right to me and I’ll test it for you if that helps?
It’s the newer design one on the right that I’m not sure of. Looks the same as the usual one but with a heat button instead of ON, but the button may be for the latest cars not the D4.
That would be my only thought.
