Temp cover for 19 YO

Is it possible to get some temp cover on a D4?
I'm 19 and had my full licence for 2 years but I've got three points. Dads insurance, with Tesco, wont go near me! Is it possible, or is my dad going to have drive all the way down to Englandshire! Laughing

my son has 3 points ( 19 years old ) ...and we cant even get him insured on a corsa or mini .

He did get a quote for his own insurance for a month ....£700 G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

What do mean by "temp cover". If it was just for a day or a week, I'd have thought you'd get cover, but it could be expensive.
