That's it .... no more mods !!!!
Five and a half years & 146k mile ago I took delivery of my new Java D3 SE [with silver colour coding].
Through time [and mainly due to this site] the D3 gradually changed - RAI, 'A' frame & spots, Rear Ladder, MTR's etc etc.
Next on my list was an Expo rack & Warn Powerplant.
Then in December it struck me, I travel around the country with my business in a suit, shirt & tie visiting my customers and I'd soon be taking round a full blown off road machine - not really suitable for my business image.
So decision was to change and modernise my D3 [as I couldn't afford a new one - but more importantly, couldn't justify one when mine was still running as good as new].
So I took all my kit off, sold it and started updating my D3 to the current corporate look - no not to copy the D4.
[had I wanted to do that i'd have had the full front end conversion done].
Key was I wanted a modern looking D3 that was unique and still had a bit of the off road agression and looks to it - Tonka toy stylee.
I reckon I've been able to achieve this - Mantec, tyres, light guards & roof bars.
So last mod was completed today with the rear undertray.
[yes I know about compromising the departure angle, but when I off road I always install my towbar - so there!]
I've done too many mods to mention, but you'll see many of them in my sig strip plus maybe spot some in the pics.
So here it is finally finished ...... with no more mods to come.
If you don't like it, tough ... I do and it'll last me for many more years yet.

Ron, looking the dogs.
Rear undertray has fitted well against the new styple bumper.
And one more mod that may set it off, but down to personal taste.............

Looks 8) Ron.
I'm glad you stick with that grill, I think it gives the front end a great look.
Not a big fan of the rear lights (that is just me) but maybe smoking the lenses would help. Not a boy racer dark tint, just a light one to tone them down a notch.
Think the rear undertray also looks good and blends in well with the side steps.

all.
Oh and btw [before someone mentions it] NO, I'm not going to colour code the wheel arches!!
I prefer the rugged plastic look.
Plus it blends in well with the plastic detail on the Rear & Front bumpers, mud flaps and bottom door claddings.
Just thought I'd clear that up I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Fantastic ronp
No need to do anything else.......but of course you will.......D4 Front seats to replace and match your current leather 8)
That is what I am considering anyway. My lowly cloth needs an entire cow trim, may as well use deeper D4 foam bases Ill let you know how I get on so you can carry on modding .Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
