MOT history is interesting Smile

It will still want some work done on it to sort 'non service ' items.

I wonder if it will get snapped up

"This car was owned by Land Rover themselves until 2013"....... didnt realise LR would keep a car for 6 years? would be nice to know what it was used ( or not used - by the miles) for as it didnt have an MOT at 3 yrs old???

Guys, thanks - that's really reassuring! Very Happy Thumbs Up

There are a few knocking around on Autotrader in the UK at the moment. Huge range of prices and a median mileage of around 150k miles. I know you should buy on condition rather than mileage, but 150k seems a lot. Except, from what I can see, this particular engine seems to be able to take it Smile

Mine has passed 150 and seems no different from when I got it at 125.

Should I be wary of LPG converted cars? In principle, this ought to be a "good idea" if it has been installed by a reputable specialist - and I know that there is a fuel station not too far from home that I can get LPG from...

Any thoughts? Smile

(The car I'm looking at is an 04 HSE with 163k miles at a reasonable price if it is in good mechanical condition, but not liking that the engine cover is not complete...)

It could have been on an 'Estate' somewhere. I bought a 110 DCPU that had very low mileage that was a JLR car but on the RHH (Royal HouseHold) vehicle scheme.
In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Well I am no expert, but the cills certainly - that seems to be a weak spot - I have spoken to one garage that has already replaced some.
