Ok, who flashed their lights or waved @ another D3 owner & received an acknowledgment. Many thanks to those who gave the thumbs up to mine whilst out and about in the Great Yorkshire Dales.

Dorset's D3 owners are equally unfriendly  , when I had my 110 I always used to get a wave back, maybe they're all too depressed to wave because of the faults now arising  2004 Discovery 3 - gone

Try flashing your headlights on the M40... great fun to see them all slow down in case the pointy heads are up the road

Over here in the States...
Back in the day, say up to the late 80s, BMW owners would always flash other BMWs.
That stopped when Yuppies started buying them because the A/C actually worked.
Everytime I see a LR, I go out of my way to wave or flash just 'cause I like to see the chick driving drop her cellphone.
