Sturgess have my D3 today to try to fix the door (again).

Just had a call to say they now need to order yet another part, but it will be here tomorrow, and they will bring me a Freelander to use overnight.

Many thanks again to all at Sturgess (especially Siobhan)
Cutting out traced to -ve lead
New windscreen fitted due to faulty heating elements
Tracking sorted
Foam cover fitted to the heating sensor (they were pleased to hear about this one and are very much in favour of all the info that is collated on Disco3)
Car cleaned
And the next time I go back I have been promised a set of Sturgess number plates so that I can completely get rid of all evidence of the c--p supplying dealer ( they have already replaced the tax disc holder and keyrings

uuuuuugggggggggghhhhhhhh
Passenger footwell mat full of water this morning and a nice constant drip from under the dash I take it from where the new screen was fitted last week

Phoned Sturgess and no courtesy car available until the 13th, I said that we were lucky this morning and the mat was just about to overflow and what if the carpets start getting soaked?
She said not to worry, we can always claim for new carpets

Surely better to get it sorted ASAP and not have to replace carpets

2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Buckingham Blue

As I am the soon to be owner of a D3, incidently purchased from Sturgess Leicester, I am pleased to read the favourable reviews here.

It doesn't surprise me at all as I have dealt with Sturgess Volvo for the last 3 years and they have been absolutely superb in every department.

If Sturgess LR are as good as their counterparts over the road then all is well
