Time to start panic buying .........

......... if you live oop norf?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-nort...d-42308437

Cutting off 40% of crude to Grangemouth and this is going to be til after NY. I remember well the chaos when Grangemouth went on strike. Being at the end of a 140 mile tanker drive I can imagine those will be chopped in preference to nice & close Central Belt.

Have I panic bought? I'd describe it as a bit more of a pre-emptive/pre-panic/pre signs saying "Sorry, no diesel" investment. Whistle Whistle

When the fuel protests were full on we had the XJ6 parked on the driveway, acting as a fuel bowser for my wife's 1.25 Fiesta.

Thinking about it...
Hope that SSE have plenty of diesel as we're about to spend a week or more on generators from next Monday.

She can keep her paws off it. It's mine I tell ya, all mine!!!

I remember being in Inverness during the strike and that muppet that is Wee Eck was telling everybody that everything was well as 85% of stations had some sort of fuel. And that helps how if you need diesel and only super unleaded is left?

SWMBO is upset to hear that they are sledging on the golf course. "That will be on the 9th" she says in tears. Bloomin' addict. Rolling with laughter
