The clock in my D3 base7 is spasmodically very innaccurate. The problem seems to occur sometime during the night. The following morning the time can be some four hours slow. After resetting, it keeps good time for a few days........and then during the night when everyone is asleep!!!!!
If the clock was at fault, it should be evident all of the time, so I am of the opinion that there may be an intermittent loss of power to the circuit incorporating the clock.
My D3 goes in for a first service next month, so if anyone can let me know if this problem has been identified before it would help.
