Timed climate, tyre pressures and more. |
|
So I am still working out the features of my 2009 D4 Hse.
Not sure if I am right, but there is very limited options in the menus.
Firstly I thought I would check the tyre pressures but there doesn’t seem to be any digital read outs. Is it all old fashioned manualchecks, do they even indicate if the tyre pressure is low?
Secoundly I thought I read that these cars have a timed climate function but I can’t see any options any where to set! The only insight I have is that on cold mornings a very brief message flashes up to say climate control unavailable then goes out in a secound.
This may all be correct for this car and model, but if so it seems very basic for a Hse model.
Past history of less prestigious cars have had much more option to play around with.
Any ideas.

No tyre pressure monitoring for 2009 ( unless it was spec’d as an optional extra )
Check extras on the touch screen menu for timed climate G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Timed climate was still an option on the earlier HSE models.
It can be enabled and remote added if needed.
I’ll drop you a message. Bodsys Brake Bible

Thanks Bodsy that would be great.
It would be a useful feature at the moment as it’s bloody freezing out side.
Thanks Wiggs. Shame about the pressures, but on the flip side it does actually make me regularly go and check and inflate the tyres.. with displays it can be quite easy to convince yourself that a certain psi below the recommendedi is fine. If you know what I mean.
cheers neil
