Ears

get someone to site in the car engine running and in reverse (brakes on) then put your ears to the sensor if its ticking its working.
The sensors are dirt cheap on flea bay (£10) ish but it takes about an hour to remove the bumper, lights and clips.
you also need to have 3 arms.
I found an old plastic card cut into strips to hold the tabs out helped me to remove them.
Push them in from the outside.
