Film would be very, very hard to do as the lights are curved in more than one way. You would need to be very confident with a heat gun and other tools to get a crease free finish. If you are going to do it, then spray would seem the better option.

IMHO, some things are just not messin with, especially as there are so many rules and laws that the police could throw at you in the event of a serious accident Embarassed

Take a good picture of the rear lights and have somebody photoshop the tints on to the car, so you can see the end result to see if it gives you the look your after

I suppose tights or a bin bag would give you the same effect before spraying them Laughing

On the film side i think the use of a hairdryer and something like a credit card will help it mold to the shape, but like been said, it wouldn't be easy

I saw a demo on You Tube, by a pro, and it looked hard on a straight forward light Shocked
