Tire pressure question

So I'm 4 months into my first D3 and when I bought it i got a great deal with the knowledge that there were a few issues to fix. Mainly the front tie rods, sway bar connectors and bushings and also tires.

So I'm still into the replacing phase but decided i would get a set of used tires from a fried of mine mainly for safety. I ended up with a set of Pathfinder AT - LT275/70 R18 125S E1 OWL tires for free just what is cost to install.

Now a cold snap after the install caused the tire pressure to drop and i got a "check all tyre pressure" code. So of course i freak out because i know that if done wrong the TPMS can be messed up, but after adding the appropriate amount of air it goes off immediately.

So as for my questions
1. Does my SE not tell me tire pressure, just that one is low, and i have to figure out which?

2. Even with the amount of air that is called out 33 psi front/ 42 psi rear, the rear tires still look to bulge. These are E rated tires so they have a comparable 10 ply wall, correct. Or should i be running more psi in them than the plate on the inside of the door calls for?

*note* this is with now weight or towing in the boot. Just the weight of the rig itself.

Also another note, i am aware these are 33s and i am running rods, and they were a bit worn when i got them so no real rubbing.

you'll always just a bit of sidewall bulge due to the weight of the Disco... it took me a while to get use to that too. On any other car you would think the tyres were starting to go flat Laughing

Ok great MAXXED_ROSS. I appreciate that and it makes sense. Why I’ve grown very fond of this site, sucks I’m across the pond from most in here. There is a wealth of knowledge.
Side note: I love how the rig called the hood a “bonnet” and how tires are “tyres”. It’s the little things in life!
Too cool!

In the 1960's the Land Rover parts list had a page of American/English part terms.

I can’t read the page from my phone. Might jump on the computation device later and see if it’s a bit clearer. That’s is awesome though.
I would love to find a knowledgeable community out this way. It is a bit more complicated here in the east coast. Most I’ve seen in the US is out west in CALIFORNIA and the like.

This might be better

Is the Carolina Rover Owners Club still active, met up with them in 2012 when over there?

L319-
That is a bit better. Again from my phone though.
As for the Carolina Rover Owners Club, I did search a bit ago and seen them but they do not (that I’ve been able to track down) have a web page. Just a Facebook, and I’m one if those anti-social media guys. Outside of say forums like this which I guess could be concidered social media.

When I get a chance to get down to uwharrie again hopefully I will run across some folks there. Seeing as the last time I went was in the off season and did some light camping. (Was the first weekend I owned the rover Thumbs Up )

I've never understood Sway Bars... calling the thing that stops the car from rolling around in corners the "anti-roll bar" wasn't obvious enough for America it seems Laughing

England

Do you think when we gave the americans our language it was like chinese whispers where a few things got mixed up! Because they can't speak English properly at all, i mean a 'hood' goes on a coat!

OK, we bashing Americans now! Rolling with laughter

but honestly the sway bar thing is a bit absurd I agree, but the hood vs. bonnet, is that not what the women use to call the little hats they wore with the ruffles and the string tied under the chin? Bonnets?

And a trunk in something cloths and personal gear goes in when traveling. lol
I even call the trunk a "boot". Which typically goes on ones foot.

I think the reason why I find it so amusing is when you get a VW its not in German or a Toyota in Japanese.
When you get a LR it is how it would be in Europe, i think that is cool. May sound stupid but trying how to explain with out Censored on someones heritage here.

(Granted I am aware that a lot of those vehicles are produced elsewhere just using as an example, also i know you all do not necessarily speak a different language. Though I did some training/work overseas with your military boys and you get them going and it is a "different" language. Laughing)

Then the D2 was under development ACE (active cornering enhancement) was called ARC (Anti roll control) but the legal boys said we would be sued if anyone in US rolled their Discovery , so for marketing it was changed to ACE, which means very little really.
