I went through once in a 110 Defender !
I'm not kidding it was scary ! One opened the back door and the troops just piled in ! I had a full length dog guard in it but my lad was sat in his seat and they were reaching round grabbing at anything they could lay their hands on !
My mrs was screaming and the wardens had to come in with food to get them out !
Roof nearly caved in, both wing mirrors off, front wipers off rear wiper bent and hanging off it was a right ball ache !Only dead fish go with the Flow !

I swear one of them was caught plugging in a Faultmate.
Now how much mischief could they get up to with one of those?

.. well when I went through, I may have accidentaly knocked the 'wash' button. Damn thing just sat there and looked as if to say... what just happened??.. but I quite like that.... so I did it a few times and it didn't put them off at all!!
Have to say, they do seem very effective at removing rubber and anything else that is not fixed down very well! They worked quickly and effectively.... wonder what their hourly rate is? Didn't take my spare fortunately, but I did see them on a laptop as we drove around. Looked like it was a dismantlers website
Have to say, at the time my 4 year old found it very interesting, but he just couldnt get his head round why they damanged daddy's car and he go so upset bless him! Just kept asking why they did it and that they shouldn't be doing it...
Ah well, we survived and no doubt we will go back at some point in the future

I went through Knowsley Safari park monkey enclosure yesterday and lost both front wiper jets in the same way. To make things worse, the one monkey who'd got both out then proceeded to hump his colleague on my bonnet.
Thankfully my son is only 15months old and didn't have any awkward questions...
I do however - are D4 washer jets a straight swap for the original D3 ones? I know I've read about the originals being rubbish a few times so am just trying to search for info - surprisingly this was the first thread I looked at Cheers,

Lol, I picked up this photo driving through the monkey enclosure... First prize goes to the first one to spot what the little monkey is laughing at...
I got stung too...mine was the rubber strips from the roof bars being carefully removed and discarded. They did also take a liking to the washer nozzles and for very good reason apparently...they like the taste of the fluid and the only way of getting it is to look like they're biting the nozzles so the drivers spray them Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! The one bent over has removed the entire rear washer jet Justin
I went through the monkey park at Knowsley years ago in a Mk 3 Cortina that I had just done up, it was gleaming with a new paint job.
I went in to the park and a very young monkey came and sat on my door mirror, so I thought it would be a good idea to grab it and sit it on my steering wheel, I did this and it sat there quite happily eating a bit of apple that my wife gave it.
I had three young kids in the back the oldest being about 5, what I did not see was that the young monkeys dad was on the roof of the car, he suddenly looked down and jump on the window sill and grabbed me by the scruff of the neck, he was pulling my out of my seat with one arm, and of course no seat belts then.
My wife started screaming, that set the kids off and all hell broke loose, I tried pulling its hand off me but could not budge it, I threw the little monkey back out of the window, then while trying to stop its dad pulling me out on to the roof I trapped its arm in window by winding it shut, it then let me go.
It was so off that it tried to break the window to get at me, we then set off and headed for a ranger who manged to get it off the car, apart from my car and me being wrecked I think I got off lightly.
I can laugh about it now but it was quite a scary moment and something I did not try again when I have been through in later years..

I was lucky as they were too busy trying to kill each other on my bonnet to cause any damage to the car
