Hi all,
after doing loads of reading and research, i have come to a conclusion that my 2005 Disco SE needs a gearbox flush. I have symptoms such as rev fluctuations whilst accelerating and occasional judders when accelerating and braking. All of these symptoms are more noticeable while towing or under load.
This is my first Discovery and absolutely love it, however, not knowing which are the best garages or finding an expert is quite daunting and frustrating.
Does anyone know of said expert in the Dorset/ Hampshire boarder area who knows what they are doing? A mobile mechanic would be a god send.

did you get any luck with this?
bizarrely, I've got the same symptoms and live in the same area as you...never quite been able to find anyone close by to do a mega flush for me...'06 TDV6 HSE, Java, Black Leather, Logic 7, Privacy, Steps
carried out a mega-flush and added some Dr Tranny to my 137k old girl today....the result is amazing - smooth changes but best of all, the horrible juddering and searching for gears is completely banished
