The Euro SE spec D3 doesn't have a memory module and as a result, doesn't have a settings menu.

My friend has an identical car to mine and he does have the settings menu enabled. I guess the Spanish spec cars are 'Special' Razz

BTW they are a PRO version. This is basically a tax fiddle to save 12% tax and offset 16% VAT. Also being good mates with the owner of the dealership helps us to get massive discounts on cars and parts. Our D3s cost 38.000 Euros. (SE version) Non-pro SE same spec costs 48.000 Euros.

Our PRO version is not like your COMMERCIAl version. We have identical spec as normal cars except only 5 seats and an obligatory dog guard.

Paul, The Mini is currently at MINISPEED in Surrey where they are finishing the engine and NITROUS install Smile

Scotland 2008 Discovery 3 TDV6 XS Manual Tonga Green

Just picked up a 2008 spec XS this morning. Tried the settings menu but no joy. While reading this forum I came upon this thread - now have the settings menu!

To get the menu up I also need the radio on, everything else as per the manual. It does not mention needing the radio on anywhere in the literature.

Pretty standard spec XS, the only electronic options I have are the PTI and the sunroof. Wouldn't know what the 'Seat Memory Module' looked like if it bit me on the bum so no point asking me if it is fitted.

mmm radio on ? Shocked

Thats an odd one. At least it works though.

The memory seat module is integral to the whole Settings Menu thing... even if you don't have electric seats.

Only thing under the drivers seat is a large silver box with fins on it. Looks very much like a power amp for the audio. No other modules there that I can see.

Apart from having to have the radio on the settings work as per the manual. I can set a speed warning, disable auto door locking, change the trip to km etc. It also give me the Reverse Mirror Dip option which does not do anything as I don't have the power seats.

I think best left alone is the answer. After all the car has done almost 200 miles and hasn't broken down yet! Seriously though this is my 4th Disco and I am very pleased with it so far.
