Is this likely to be May school holidays? If yes - then we'll be there - 2+2 kids.

cheers,

Simon

In NSW, it is not school holidays. http://www.schools.nsw.edu.au/calendar/viewvacationdates.php

Early Easter next year too 21-24 March. http://www.industrialrelations.nsw.gov.au/holidays/default.html

So - that would mean taking a week off work for me, and the wife taking long service leave. Then 1650 odd km each way.

Put me down as interested.

Are there any other Sydney-siders heading over? We could have a convoy! Cool

PS. Probably stop overnight at Cobar, I guess - to break up the trip.

Cheers,
Rob

Why stop at Cobar when You can go the extra 260 km and stop in Willcannia. If You stop on pension night You get free, but terrifying, nights entertainment. Thud

Still waiting for our friends from upover to give us a date for their 60th get together. Ideally the Oz one and the Pom ones would be held on the same weekend. They have said the long weekend (theirs) in May08 but they have two long weekends in May.
As soon as the dates are known a poll will be set.
I doing a recci in early Dec for accommodation types, prices, deals and 4wd trips. (Hope to get the lot in one package).
Cheers,
David.
