The Disco 3 from Romania
Hello all! My name is Chris and I am the proud owner of a 2005 2.7 TDV6 S Disco.
I have the car from new and it has been a good friend throughout the years.
Because it is the S version, I have done a couple of mods during the almost 9 years of ownership.
I have started with the interior and have installed a Garmin GVN 53 navigation system, a dvd player with USB and Audio In port. These two are coupled to a small Alpine monitor which is mounted in the place of the original LCD screen.
After that i have also installed a Nokia 810 Car Phone which i found very useful at times.
I have two sets of original wheels for it, 18 inch with General Grabber AT2's mounted and 17 inch with Cooper Discovere STT's on them.
As for the outside, I mounted a Snorkel and 2 Hella Ralley 1000 fog lamps.
No issues to report at this time.

The car hasn't got that many miles on it - 57.000 to be exact (90600 km).
I meant engine and electric/electronic issues. Of course i had to change some bushing and anti-roll bars over the years but that's it .
I manly use it for long road trips outside Romania and a bit of off road.

Goodmorning. I don't think I'll spend any more money on this one. When I bought it, I was sure I would buy all the original G4 accessories, but that ship has sailed.
Now i'm thinking of gettin' the new Disco. Time will tell.

Hey all! We are having a pretty large snow fall in Romania, it got around half a metre. And this can only make me glad! Today it started to snow again, another half a meter expected. The blizzard's on it's way.
The Disco does very well in snow. Swapped on the 17 inch orginal alloys with the cooper stt's
and they are performing better than any snow tire i have ever owned. Here are a few pics.

I think I am going to install a separate alarm system that is going to help me to remote start the engine. The bad news is that the spare key is going to stay in the car, somehow connected to the alarm system, because otherwise the enginge wouldn't start.

Hey all! I was searching around the forum and couldn't find information so I was wondering is it posible to replace the standard halogen headlights with xenon ones without any mods?
