Yeah that looks great, personally not a snorkel fan but then again mine doesn't do what yours does.
These are just the best vehicle to mod and personalise I could easily go spend a shed load on mine and probably will!!
We should have a discovery show!!!!

praise indeed from some, though without a doubt there are some tougher, ruder, classier looking examples on the forum 8)
With regards the RAI , i wanted one, fitted one, thought why did I fit that , sometimes I think it looks great , and hats off to Landrover for making one that doesn't impede the view from inside whatsoever, and fits like a glove.
Other times I see it and think it needs to come off
The money pit will no doubt continue to confuse and infuriate SWMBO, and keep me plotting, but at least so far it has been my choice to spend on her, not the other way around Procrastination is the thief of time!!

What make of spacers do people recomend on here? I have always wanted some but a bit worried given the high speed (ie. 80 - 90 mph) long motorway journeys I do over here.Club Narpy Torch

On the spacer front, I have always gone for the more expensive German made ones, as the TUV certification at least guarentees a given quality.
I have seen lots of others on e bay etc, that look like someone has just spun them on a lathe and stuck some ( unknown quality?) studs in them.
At least the TUV approved ones should have been tested and scrutinised to pass the required standards.
They also have a quality anti corrosive finish on them whereas these cheaper ones mentioned above just appear to be polished alloy, in which case they would look shocking after a British winter.
The H&R ones I fitted this time were ideal as the exterior finish is a light matt grey , almost identical to the finish on the genuine Landrover supplied brake disc bells, so a seamless joint almost , as opposed to looking like something had been added between the disc/ wheel.
Larkspeed were the cheapest on the net at the time for 2 pairs , as I said I went 30mm front and 25 mm rear, solely because Hoffman recommend this combo and I guess they have tested and found this most suitable to avoid any contact under articulation.
Though looking at them, 30 mm would happily fit and may never cause any issues for he majority.Procrastination is the thief of time!!

Hi Archeci Best place to be from obviously
@ Ridgeback_moor, no he is a Fox Red lab, though he has been confused a few times for a Ridgeback, I guess due to the colour.
Certainly not as rare a sight as a Ridgeback, had a guy come into my shop at Christmas with one, stunning dog, lean, muscular and velvety smooth, really handsome dogs
This is the boy

Hi npikey,
Thanks very much....
The tree sliders are Britpart ones but to be fair the same product seems to be sold by various traders under different names, I could be wrong but the products look pretty much identical, but he prices vary hugely.
I put a link to these in another thread the other day,
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DISCOVERY-3-4-TR...2c7c6ac667
certainly cheaper than mine, but visually , though I can't vouch for them any more than that having no experience of them.
At the end of the day they are some folded plate with bits of tube clagged onto them so as long as the holes line up and the fold profiles are correct, you can't really go wrong with them I wouldn't have thought. Procrastination is the thief of time!!
